Please note, the following procedures for adverse weather:
• If the school is closing early for any reason including adverse weather, we will endeavour to make contact with all parents via telephone. We will also post on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
• At all other times i.e. before school opens, Parents should check the Highland Council Schools Messaging Service, the Highland Council Website – school closures and / or our Facebook or Twitter pages which we will update as soon as we possibly can. Staff will not be contacting Parents from their homes.
• The schools messaging service number and pin is as follows for all NWS Schools: 0800 564 2272 / Pin Number 04 1130 (Pinned to the top of our FB page for easy access).
• All pupils have chromebooks and work will be posted on google classrooms for senior pupils if we have to close for any reason.

Santa will be at the Craft Fayre on Saturday 3 December 2022 (12.30 – 3.00 pm).
Mr Price-Davies reports:
“Our S3 Duke of Edinburgh class recently went on their Source to Sea expedition with Dr Whitely, myself and Lynn Munro, our John Muir Trust Ranger/Conservation Officer. We walked into Strathan Bothy in 40+mph winds and camped the night before walking to Sandwood Bay the following day. The project has been planned by the pupils and Lynn to follow the river to the sea and learn more about our local habitat, environment and how we use it. We have put a little video together which we thought you might be interested to see and our hope it to create more outdoor and camping opportunities across all the schools that can be accessed by all ages!”
The Parent Council AGM and first meeting of the new session was held on 14 September 2022.
